Reiki

Reiki energy healing is a Japanese form of hands-on touch therapy.  The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words: Rei, meaning "God consciousness" and Ki, meaning "life force energy".

Energy healing enables us to tap into the abundant resources of the universal life force.  It is a form of wholistic healing that is noninvasive, non-intrusive and non-manipulative.  Reiki is used to relieve acute and chronic pain. It promotes relaxation and relief of stress.

During a Reiki/Energy healing session, the whole person is treated: mind, body, soul, and spirit. A treatment feels like a wonderful, glowing radiance that flows through and around you.

Throughout our lives, we build up blockages in our body:

our physical body and our spiritual body.  Our spiritual body is partly made up of energy centers (whirling vortexes of energy, invisible to the human eye).  In a healthy system, these energy centers flow freely with balanced contraction and expansion.  Because of misconceptions and errors that we harbor, steming from our general existence, childhood issues, and daily life, our energy centers slow down, until finally they become "sick".  An Energy healer acts as a catalyst, directing the life force at the centers to create movement where there is little or no movement at all.  Benefits of Energy healing will stay with you throughout your entire life.

Reiki is a highly effective form of wholistic healing.  However, it is not meant to replace conventional medicine. It is intended to compliment it.
