Barbara Colao, L.M.T.
Barbara Colao is a licensed massage therapist and Staff Manager of the massage practice at Natural Care Chiropractic. Barbara's practice is focused on natural healing and uses an individualized approach with each client.
Ms. Colao first became interested in massage while working with a Doctor of Osteopathy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was during that time, assisting in the care of patients, that Barbara became very sympathetic to their needs for pain relief. She attended a workshop that introduced her to the healing affects of massage and that ultimately led her back to school. She attended the New York College for Holistic Health Education and Research. There she trained in Swedish and AMMA Techniques and earned an Associates Degree of Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy.
Since then Barbara has continued to learn techniques to enhance her skill. Hot Stone Massage as well as Thai Massage and Reflexology are are such techniques available. She also teaches infant massage to parents.
